Cantante cubano Pons chino con su grupo ha creado este álbum optimista que dibuja sus influencias de una amplia gama de la música cubana como son cubano, cha cha chá, canciones tradicionales cubanas Afro así como con un emocionante, contemporáneo de la torcedura bailar salsa.

Aunque empecé mi carrera artística a una edad tardía, estaba siempre, desde que era joven, rodeado de músicos y bailarines de la década de 1940 y 1950. Crecer en este ambiente de la música tradicional, la gente tuvo una gran influencia sobre mí y me inspiro a crear este álbum. Escuchar a mis familiares, me dio una base sólida en hijo cubano. También, absorber sus conocimientos de yambu, rumba, cha cha chá, chaonda y otros ritmos caribeños me llevan a crear algo con un sonido nuevo y más moderno manteniendo muchos elementos de la música tradicional cubana.
